Role Description
This is on-site role for a CCTV Engineer located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Engineer will be responsible for installing and configuring CCTV systems, troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring proper functioning of security equipment. Close collaboration with clients to understand their specific needs and providing excellent customer service will also be key aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission CCTV systems (IP & Analog)
- Perform structured cabling, termination, and testing (Cat6, fiber if required)
- Configure NVRs/DVRs, cameras, and remote viewing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cameras, recording systems, and network connectivity
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system health checks
- Ensure proper documentation of installations, configurations, and site reports
- Coordinate with project and IT teams for system integration
- Support system upgrades, expansions, and relocations
Technical Requirements
- Experience with CCTV brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, or similar
- Good knowledge of IP networking (IP addressing, switching, basic routing)
- Hands-on experience with NVR/DVR configuration and camera setup
- Familiarity with structured cabling standards
- Understanding of VMS platforms is a plus
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Electronics, IT, or related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in CCTV/security systems
- Valid UAE driving license is a Must
