Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cathodic Protection Technician for Ras Al Khair Saudi Arabia location. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and monitoring of cathodic protection systems to prevent corrosion of pipelines, tanks, and other metallic structures used in industrial environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain cathodic protection (CP) systems, including sacrificial anode and impressed current systems.

• Conduct CP surveys, inspections, and performance evaluations using standard testing equipment.

• Monitor system parameters, record readings, and maintain accurate technical reports.

• Inspect rectifiers, anodes, test stations, bonds, cables, and related CP components.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing cathodic protection systems.

• Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as NACE, ISO, and industry/client requirements.

• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams for system upgrades and corrective actions.

• Document all CP activities, inspection results, and maintenance logs in a timely manner.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Certification Required : Cathodic Protection Technician Level 2 (CP2)

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in cathodic protection systems.

• Strong understanding of corrosion control methods and CP standards.

• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial, marine, or pipeline environments is preferred.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, layouts, and CP specifications.

• Strong troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.
