Cash & Expense Control Accountant Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor petty cash transactions and settlement cycles.
• Review employee expense claims and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and approval matrix.
• Prepare petty cash reconciliations and periodic cash reports.
• Follow up on pending settlements and outstanding advances.
• Coordinate with project/site teams regarding expense submissions.
• Maintain organized filing and documentation for audit purposes.
• Support monthly closing activities related to cash expenses and accruals.
• Assist in improving expense tracking and control procedures.
• Identify irregularities or unsupported transactions and escalate when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in petty cash, expense control, or general accounting.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Experience in reviewing expense claims, reconciliations, and cash settlements.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to follow up effectively and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of audit requirements and financial documentation standards is preferred.
• Preferred Background: Contracting, EPC, industrial, logistics, or project-based companies with experience handling high-volume operational expenses.
