Role Description

The Cafe & Restaurant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the cafe and restaurant, ensuring an excellent guest experience and smooth service. This full-time, on-site role is based in Amman and includes overseeing staff scheduling, training, and performance, as well as supervising opening and closing procedures. The manager will monitor food and beverage quality, manage inventory and ordering, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. In addition, the role involves handling guest feedback, resolving service issues, and driving initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue. The manager will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to support events, promotions, and special functions as needed.

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a commitment to creating a welcoming and consistent guest experience.
• People management skills, including Hiring and day-to-day team leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Excellent Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and internal stakeholders in a clear, respectful, and professional manner.
• Solid Food & Beverage knowledge, including menu understanding, quality control, basic cost awareness, and service standards.
• Previous experience in cafe, restaurant, or hospitality management, preferably in a high-traffic or event-driven environment.
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and interpret basic operational reports.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a hands-on approach on the floor.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
