Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Dammam, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The Buying Fresh Food Specialist will focus on sourcing and purchasing fresh vegetables and fruits of the highest quality at competitive prices. Day-to-day responsibilities include building relationships with local and regional suppliers, monitoring product quality, negotiating purchase terms, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role also involves analyzing market trends and adjusting procurement strategies as needed to meet customer demands effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing and purchasing fresh food, including fruits and vegetables
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills for collaborating with suppliers
• Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes
• Familiarity with local and regional fresh food markets
• Analytical skills to assess market trends and pricing
• Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms used for inventory or purchase management
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and suppliers
• Prior experience in retail or food industry purchasing is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
