Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager – Projects & Workshop Operations. The ideal candidate will be a qualified engineer with strong experience in workshop management, project execution, and business development within the mechanical and electrical supply and service industry.

This role requires a commercially driven individual who can develop business opportunities, manage client relationships, oversee workshop operations, and lead projects for major Oil & Gas and government sector clients across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

·        Identify and develop new business opportunities in mechanical and electrical projects, maintenance, and service sectors.

·        Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients including ADNOC, Borouge, municipalities, Department of Transport, defense, and other government entities.

·        Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.

·        Conduct market analysis and competitor tracking to expand business opportunities.

·        Achieve sales targets and support company growth strategies.

Projects Management

·        Coordinate and manage mechanical and electrical projects from inquiry stage to completion.

·        Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

·        Ensure projects are executed within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

·        Support project planning, resource allocation, and reporting.

Workshop Operations

·        Oversee daily workshop activities including repair, maintenance, fabrication, and testing operations.

·        Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, tools, and materials.

·        Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

·        Implement preventive maintenance and operational improvement initiatives.

·        Supervise workshop staff and technicians.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

·        Minimum 8–12 years of relevant UAE experience.

·        Proven experience in workshop management, project execution, and business development/client acquisition.

·        Strong exposure to Oil & Gas companies and UAE government departments.

·        Experience handling mechanical and electrical supply/service projects.

·        Good understanding of tendering, contracts, estimation, and project coordination.

·        Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

·        Valid UAE driving license.
