Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Business Developer to join our client. This role is critical in driving our client’s growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and ensuring seamless vendor and client management. As a startup, our client requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to our business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and service offerings.
o Research and analyze market trends to identify growth areas.
• Client Management:
o Build and nurture relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term collaboration.
o Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and feedback, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Vendor Management:
o Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
o Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to align with project needs.
• Proposal Development:
o Collaborate with the team to create tailored proposals and presentations that highlight the client’s unique offerings.
o Ensure proposals meet client requirements and showcase our value proposition effectively.
Strategic Contribution:
o Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies for business growth.
o Participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions to improve internal processes and service offerings.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, ideally within event management or a similar industry.
• Strong client and vendor management skills, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships.
• Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
