Position Description

The Business Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing data from internal and external sources to generate accurate reports, dashboards, and insights that support decision-making across the MENAT region.

Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the role translates business requirements into structured data solutions, enhances reporting processes, and improves data visibility to support performance tracking, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis to support business and operational decision-making.
• Analyze trends, anomalies, patterns, and forecasting indicators across financial and operational datasets.
• Support pricing data accuracy for the MENAT region and validate data integrity across sources.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective or preventive actions where relevant.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through data-driven insights.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using Power BI and Advanced Excel.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.
• Present insights and reports to managers and senior stakeholders to support performance tracking and decision-making.
• Analyze business processes and reporting flows to identify enhancement opportunities.
• Support the review and implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls to strengthen data governance and operational compliance.
• Maintain documentation including business requirements, process flows, data definitions, and user guides.
• Support the implementation of reporting enhancements, tools, and scalable reporting frameworks across departments.
• Prepare presentations and materials to support project updates and leadership visibility.
• Contribute to projects related to reporting optimization, process enhancement, and data structure improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across MENAT, AME, and AMR to align reporting standards and business requirements.
• Provide analytical support and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and abilities:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data modeling, advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple datasets, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to present data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting outputs
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
• Ability to prepare structured reports, summaries, and presentations that support leadership visibility and strategic decision-making
• Strong experience in data visualization, dashboard development, and reporting optimization to support business decision-making
• Proficiency in business intelligence and data analysis tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python and advanced Excel for reporting automation and visualization
• Working knowledge of extracting and consuming data from enterprise systems such as SAP, CRM platforms, HANA databases, and other structured data sources

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree level, preferably in Analytics, Statistics, Computer science, or Finance.
• Additional relevant trainings and certifications in related fields may be considered an asset.

Experience: 2 – 4 years of relevant experience.
