Role Description This is a full-time, remote Blockchain Developer role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining blockchain-based solutions that support DrDirven’s wealth-building and automation platforms. You will architect and develop smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and blockchain integrations with existing back-end services and financial systems. Daily responsibilities include writing secure, efficient code, reviewing peer code, implementing cryptographic protocols, and optimizing transaction flows and on-chain/off-chain data management. You will collaborate with product, data, and trading teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, integrate cryptocurrency payment and custody solutions, and ensure scalability and reliability of blockchain services. The role also involves monitoring production systems, troubleshooting issues, and staying current with emerging blockchain, security, and regulatory trends relevant to digital assets and wealth management.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in blockchain technologies and protocols (e.g., Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains, Bitcoin, Layer 2 solutions).
- Hands-on experience with cryptocurrency ecosystems, wallets, exchanges, and integrating crypto payments or custody services.
- Proficiency in cryptography concepts and their practical application in secure key management, signing, and smart contract design.
- Solid back-end web development skills (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar), including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.
- Proven software development experience with modern development practices (version control, testing, CI/CD, code reviews, documentation).
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying smart contracts (e.g., Solidity) and dApps, with a focus on security and gas optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with financial systems, algorithmic trading, or fintech platforms is a plus.
Understanding of security best practices, threat modeling, and regulatory considerations for digital asset solutions is highly beneficial.**Compensation:** $6,500-$12,500/month ($80k-$150k/year) + token allocation

– **Location:** Must reside in a recognized crypto free zone (Dubai DIFC, ADGM, RAK DAO, or equivalent). No exceptions. We need legal crypto operations.
– **Experience:** 3+ years Solidity development with deployed contracts on mainnet
– **DeFi:** Deep understanding of CDP systems, AMMs, lending protocols, oracles
– **Cross-chain:** Experience with Wormhole, LayerZero, or IBC bridge integrations
– **Languages:** Solidity, Python, TypeScript, Hardhat/Foundry
