Back Office Wireless Engineer – Kuwait Full Time NEW

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Back Office Wireless Engineer role based in Kuwait City. The Back Office Wireless Engineer will monitor, analyze, and optimize wireless network performance, ensuring high availability, quality of service, and adherence to SLAs. Responsibilities include handling second- and third-line technical support for wireless network issues, performing detailed troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and coordinating with field teams and vendors to resolve incidents. The role also involves performing configuration, integration, and acceptance testing of wireless network elements, as well as preparing technical documentation, reports, and change requests in line with established standards. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support knowledge transfer and training activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of network processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong wireless network engineering background with experience in back office operations, configuration, optimization, and performance monitoring.
• Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting and technical support for complex wireless network issues, including root-cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Experience in information technology environments, particularly within telecommunications or service provider networks.
• Customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and vendors and manage expectations professionally.
• Experience delivering or supporting training, knowledge sharing, and documentation for technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, electrical/computer engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Familiarity with major wireless technologies (e.g., 2G/3G/4G/5G, RF principles, RAN, core network interfaces) and relevant vendor equipment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under time constraints and shifting priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and follow standardized processes, change management, and quality procedures.
• Professional certifications in wireless or networking (e.g., vendor certifications, CCNA/CCNP or equivalent) are an advantage.
