Role Description The Aviation and Ticketing Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis. This role oversees daily airline reservation and ticketing operations, ensuring accurate bookings, reissues, refunds, and cancellations in coordination with airlines and suppliers. The supervisor monitors team performance, assigns tasks, and provides guidance and training on GDS usage, fare rules, and company procedures. Responsibilities include managing group bookings, negotiating fares when applicable, and resolving complex customer and booking issues in a timely, professional manner. The role also involves coordinating with the sales and operations teams, maintaining compliance with airline policies, preparing operational reports, and supporting process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in airline reservations and ticketing, including issuing, reissuing, and refunding tickets using at least one major GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan).
• Solid knowledge of airline fare rules, routing, classes, and ticketing regulations, with the ability to handle complex and group itineraries.
• Proven supervisory or team lead experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or aviation environment, including task delegation, coaching, and performance follow-up.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to manage escalations and build positive relationships with clients, airlines, and internal stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with common office software (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace) and comfort working with booking, CRM, or travel management systems.
• Good command of English and Arabic, written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
• Background in travel, tourism, hospitality, or aviation; a relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Availability to work full time on-site in Heliopolis, with flexibility for peak travel seasons when needed.
