Role Overview
Moore JFC is seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Tax Manager to join its growing Tax practice. The role is suited for a professional with 4–6 years of relevant tax experience, with hands on exposure to UAE Corporate Tax law and/or other regional or international tax regimes. The candidate will support the delivery of tax compliance and advisory engagements while managing day to day client interactions and mentoring junior team members.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced professional services environment. The Assistant Tax Manager is expected to demonstrate leadership, client management capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance while staying abreast of evolving tax developments.
Job Description
• Manage and review UAE CT compliance engagements, including tax computations, returns, and filings
• Provide tax advisory support on UAE CT and other applicable tax matters
• Review work performed by junior team members and provide technical guidance and mentoring
• Liaise with clients to understand business operations and identify tax risks and opportunities
• Support tax audits and manage correspondence with tax authorities
• Conduct technical research and prepare advisory notes, opinions, and client deliverables
• Monitor tax law changes and assess their impact on clients and internal processes
• Ensure compliance with internal risk management, quality control, and documentation requirements
Qualifications and Skills
• CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in tax, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment
• Strong working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax law; experience in other tax jurisdictions is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and handle client interactions independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and tax compliance tools
