Artistic Director – Contemporary Art Gallery
Location: Dubai, UAE – Full-time
Arturo Palomba Art Gallery LLC is looking for an experienced Artistic Director to support the artistic development and curatorial direction of its contemporary art activities in Dubai and international markets.
This is a full-time position. Compensation, bonus structure and benefits will be discussed based on the candidate’s experience and profile.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the artistic and curatorial direction of gallery activities
- Coordinating exhibitions, cultural projects and artist-related initiatives
- Contributing to artistic programming and gallery positioning
- Supporting relationships with artists, collectors and institutional partners
- Coordinating exhibition planning and communication activities
- Supporting participation in art fairs, cultural events and international collaborations
Requirements:
- Minimum 8–10+ years of experience in contemporary art, curatorial activities, gallery management or related cultural sectors
- Strong understanding of contemporary art and international art market dynamics
- Proven experience working with artists, exhibitions, collectors or cultural institutions
- Strong organizational, communication and project coordination skills
- Ability to work in an international and cross-cultural environment
- Fluency in English is required
- Fluency in Arabic or Russian is required
- Additional languages are a strong advantage
