Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Arabic Commis Chef role based in Al Khobar. The Arabic Commis Chef supports the kitchen team in preparing, cooking, and presenting Arabic dishes according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines. Daily responsibilities include assisting with mise en place, basic cooking tasks, and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in all work areas. The role involves proper storage and labeling of ingredients, minimizing waste, and ensuring timely preparation during service periods. The Arabic Commis Chef also collaborates closely with senior chefs, follows instructions accurately, and contributes to a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Food Preparation and Cooking for Arabic cuisine, including basic cutting, marinating, and cooking techniques.
• Solid Culinary Skills with an interest in learning new recipes, methods, and presentation styles from senior chefs.
• Knowledge of Hygiene and food safety standards, including proper storage, labeling, and workstation cleanliness.
• Effective Communication skills to coordinate with kitchen team members and follow instructions clearly and consistently.
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in Arabic or Middle Eastern cuisine, is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail and quality.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
• Relevant culinary education or certification is preferred but not mandatory if supported by strong practical experience.
