Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mazraet Kfardebiane, Lebanon, with some flexibility to work from home for planning, reporting, and documentation tasks.
The Agricultural Engineer will design, implement, and monitor agricultural practices that support high-quality apple and grape production for the winery and distillery. Daily responsibilities include planning and supervising irrigation systems, implementing integrated pest management programs, and providing technical support to field teams and partner farmers.
The role involves assessing soil and water conditions, recommending improvements in orchard and vineyard management, and ensuring that agricultural activities align with quality, safety, and sustainability standards. The Agricultural Engineer will collaborate closely with production and management teams to forecast yields, optimize resource utilization, improve fruit quality, and document field data and technical reports.
The position also includes supporting farmer outreach programs, introducing best agricultural practices, conducting field visits, and contributing to the long-term development of sustainable apple and grape value chains.
