Purpose of the role

The Account Handler will be responsible for the servicing and support of the confirmed clients on day-to-day queries and endorsements for General/Motor clients. The Account Handler will also be managing and maintaining client accounts, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between clients and the organization, and providing support and assistance to clients as needed.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist client on end-to-end processes (Issuance, Endorsement)
• Reviews agreements and/or insurance policy documents such as schedule of benefits and be able to explain new benefit offerings and communication strategies to existing clients.
• Work with various insurer to complete client requests.
• Visit the clients/Insurance Companies on regular basis, meets with clients alone or in conjunction with other team members if needed.
• Verification of documents for the client
• Ensuring process is followed accurately including updating the endorsement tracker, filing documents and invoices.
• Coordinating with the Finance team to process invoicing and payments.
• Acquiring General insurance quotations from the insurance companies and doing the required technical and financial comparisons
• Provide the client with the required reports and presentations.
• Renewals tracking

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Insurance, Actuary science)
• At least 2 years’ experience in the General/Motor insurance industry in an insurance Company/ Brokerage.
• Demonstrated invoices reconciliation skills.
• Advanced excel and technology skills (Microsoft Office, and Insurer portal knowledge is a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management, operational and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to explain processes, handle complaints, problem solving and escalations with the ability to develop sound relationships with multiple clients.
