About the Role
We’re looking for a 3D Optimization Specialist who can take raw architectural models (Revit, SketchUp, CAD) and turn them into high-performance assets for AR and Web.
This is not a modeling role. This is about cleaning, optimizing, and preparing real-world models to run smoothly on mobile devices.
What You’ll Do
- Optimize heavy 3D models for AR (USDZ / GLB)
- Reduce polygon count while maintaining visual quality
- Clean meshes (normals, hierarchy, pivot points)
- Optimize and compress textures (atlasing, resolution tuning)
- Prepare assets for:
- AR Quick Look (iOS)
- WebAR / WebGL
- Ensure models meet strict performance targets (≤15MB, mobile-ready)
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Strong experience with Blender (or equivalent)
- Proven work optimizing architectural models
- Solid understanding of:
- polygon reduction techniques
- UV mapping & texture atlasing
- real-time rendering constraints
- Experience exporting to GLB / USDZ
- Ability to hit performance targets without breaking models
Nice to Have
- Experience with ARKit / WebAR pipelines
- Familiarity with Draco compression
- Experience working with messy CAD/Revit files
