Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Wet Utility / BIM Engineer with expertise in SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, Civil 3D, Revit, Dynamo, InfraWizard, and BIM coordination. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the planning, design, modeling, and optimization of water, wastewater, stormwater, and infrastructure utility systems while supporting multidisciplinary BIM project delivery.
The candidate should possess strong technical expertise in hydraulic modeling, BIM workflows, infrastructure coordination, utility design, and digital engineering solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
• Design and analyze water, wastewater, stormwater, and wet utility infrastructure systems using SewerGEMS and WaterGEMS software.
• Develop hydraulic and network models to simulate water distribution, sewer collection, and drainage systems.
• Perform transient analysis, hydraulic calculations, and utility capacity assessments.
• Prepare detailed infrastructure and utility designs using Civil 3D and InfraWizard.
• Develop and manage BIM models using Revit for infrastructure and utility coordination projects.
• Utilize Dynamo to automate BIM workflows, model generation, data extraction, and engineering processes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models involving civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
• Produce engineering drawings, utility layouts, profiles, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Conduct clash detection and model coordination using BIM platforms and Navisworks.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Support construction, testing, commissioning, and site supervision activities.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing infrastructure and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, engineering standards, and BIM execution plans (BEP).
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Stay updated with industry standards, digital engineering technologies, and infrastructure best practices.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in wet utility and infrastructure engineering projects.
• Proficiency in SewerGEMS and WaterGEMS for hydraulic modeling and analysis.
• Strong experience in Autodesk Civil 3D and Revit.
• Hands-on experience with Dynamo scripting and BIM automation workflows.
• Proficiency in InfraWizard for infrastructure and utility design workflows.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and digital project delivery.
• Experience in utility coordination, drainage, sewerage, potable water, and stormwater systems.
• Knowledge of transient analysis, pressure surge analysis, and hydraulic simulations is preferred.
• Familiarity with Navisworks, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Knowledge of international codes, local authority regulations, and utility standards is an advantage.
