Role Overview
We are hiring Private Equity Associates to evaluate AI outputs related to investment analysis, financial modeling, and deal evaluation. In this role, you will apply structured rubrics to assess financial reasoning and contribute to AI model improvement on PE and finance tasks. The ideal candidate has buyside experience and rigorous analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
– Evaluate AI-generated investment memos, financial models, and deal analysis.
– Apply structured rubrics to assess financial reasoning, modeling, and assumptions.
– Identify modeling errors, reasoning gaps, and weak deal logic.
– File clean evaluation tickets with clear written justification.
– Partner with finance and product teams on quality criteria.
– Contribute to rubric design for PE, M&A, and investment domains.
Required Skills & Qualifications
– 2+ years of private equity, investment banking, or buyside experience.
– Strong financial modeling skills (LBO, DCF, comps, accretion/dilution).
– Familiarity with deal processes and transaction documentation.
– Clear written communication for investment memos and analysis.
– Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor.
– Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
– MBA or CFA charter.
– Experience at a top-tier PE firm, hedge fund, or investment bank.
– Experience evaluating AI or LLM output quality.
– Industry expertise (tech, healthcare, industrials, consumer).
– Advanced Excel and modeling skills.
