Key Responsibilities
• Receive, verify, and sort outgoing pharmacy orders for dispatch — ensuring 100% accuracy in items, quantities, and patient details before any order leaves the hub.
• Manage cold chain integrity for temperature-sensitive medications: check ice packs, validate thermal packaging, and always ensure proper storage conditions.
• Coordinate and brief drivers at shift start — assigning routes, confirming delivery priority, and communicating special handling instructions for sensitive orders.
• Monitor real-time delivery status and proactively follow up on delayed, failed, or rescheduled deliveries in coordination with the customer service team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant hub environment — ensuring all equipment and packaging materials are stocked, functional, and audit-ready.
• Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for order handling, driver dispatch, and incident reporting, escalating non-compliance immediately.
• Document daily hub activity including dispatch volumes, driver attendance, incident logs, and any operational exceptions.
• Act as the first point of contact for driver queries and field issues, providing clear guidance and escalating to management when required.
• Support ongoing quality improvement by identifying recurring operational gaps and proposing practical process enhancements.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, delivery operations, or dispatch coordination.
• Background in pharmacy, healthcare, FMCG, or last-mile delivery is a strong advantage.
• High attention to detail — a single wrong item or missed cold-chain check can directly harm a patient.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; you manage multiple drivers, orders, and time windows simultaneously.
• Calm under pressure with the ability to make fast, accurate decisions during peak dispatch windows.
• Experience with delivery management systems, route planning tools, or pharmacy platforms is a plus.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• English required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
