Project Engineer – Finishing Full Time NEW

Industry: Construction / High-Rise Building

Experience Required: Minimum 10 years UAE experience (high-rise projects)

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (attested)

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all engineering and technical aspects of the high-rise building project from start to completion. This includes planning, execution, monitoring progress, and ensuring that all works are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and safety standards.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Plan and schedule work sequences, monitor daily progress, and report site activities to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate between structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines to ensure proper integration of works.
• Ensure timely execution of all site activities to meet project milestones.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for site coordination and technical matters.
• Ensure strict implementation of QA/QC procedures and safety standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Review and verify subcontractors’ work progress and quantities for billing and approvals.
• Assist in resolving technical issues, design discrepancies, and site conflicts.
• Supervise junior engineers and foremen to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (attested).
• Minimum 10 years UAE experience in high-rise building projects (from start to handover).
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and local authority regulations.
• Familiar with structural, finishing, and MEP coordination.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project planning software (e.g., Primavera or MS Project).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Dubai Municipality and Trakhees authority procedures.
• Ability to handle site operations independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
