Senior Structure Design Engineer Full Time NEW

Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role based in New Cairo for a Structural Design Engineer. The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analyses and developing innovative, efficient designs for a variety of projects. The role involves creating and reviewing structural drawings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications, and ensuring designs comply with technical and regulatory standards. The engineer will also utilize specialized software for modeling and design, contributing to the successful delivery of projects.

• Lead the structural design and analysis of buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities across multiple project phases (concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction documentation).
• Produce and review structural calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Apply international and regional design codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode, ASCE, and applicable Gulf standards).
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including civil, MEP, and architectural engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level structural engineers.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to resolve design queries and ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct site visits to support construction activities and address technical issues on the ground.
• Review and approve shop drawings and RFIs submitted by contractors.
• Contribute to proposals and technical presentations for new business opportunities.
