Senior Director – Strategic Accounts (MEA / EU) Location: UAE / Europe Company: Confidential (Client: Data Centre Developer / Digital Infrastructure Provider) Sector: Data Centres / Digital Infrastructure / Enterprise Technology Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Director – Strategic Accounts to lead a portfolio of key enterprise clients across MEA and Europe. This role is responsible for driving long-term account growth, retention, and executive relationship management across high-value strategic accounts. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the position acts as the senior commercial lead and trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, developing and executing multi-year account strategies aligned with both client priorities and organisational growth objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping deal strategy, driving revenue performance, and ensuring strong alignment across sales, commercial, and delivery teams. Key Responsibilities Own and lead a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, with full accountability for growth, retention, and overall performance. Develop and execute multi-year account strategies, including pipeline development, renewal planning, and expansion opportunities. Act as the senior commercial point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining executive-level relationships. Drive revenue growth through upsell, cross-sell, and new opportunity development across the account base. Lead executive engagement forums including QBRs, account reviews, and strategic planning sessions. Partner with internal teams to support complex deal structuring, RFP responses, and commercial negotiations. Align with regional sales teams to ensure consistent execution of account strategies across geographies. Monitor account health and proactively manage commercial risks impacting retention and growth. Provide regular reporting on portfolio performance, pipeline, and forecasting to senior leadership. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commercial Management, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).14–18+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or complex B2B commercial roles. Proven track record managing large, high-value enterprise accounts across international markets. Strong experience engaging with C-suite and senior client stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, retention, and long-term account expansion. Experience within data centres, digital infrastructure, cloud, telecom, or enterprise technology sectors is highly desirable. Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
