About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated AI Engineer (execution-focused) to develop applied AI solutions in the field of groundwater systems and Digital Twin development.

This is a hands-on, implementation-driven role focused on:

• Building models
• Automating workflows
• Developing internal tools

You will collaborate closely with hydrogeology experts to transform complex data into practical, decision-ready insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Machine Learning models (time series, regression, forecasting)
• Build scripts and automated data processing pipelines
• Integrate AI solutions with hydrogeological modeling workflows (e.g., MODFLOW)
• Develop internal Python-based tools to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Contribute to building groundwater Digital Twin systems
• Create simple and effective dashboards (e.g., Streamlit)

Requirements

Core:

• Strong proficiency in Python (essential)
• Experience with:
• Pandas / NumPy
• Scikit-learn or PyTorch
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals
• Ability to translate real-world problems into practical AI solutions

Additional Requirement (Important):

• Good awareness of AI platforms and tools, including:
• Free and open-source solutions
• Paid and enterprise AI platforms
• Ability to select and utilize the right tools efficiently for different tasks

Bonus (Nice to Have):

• Experience with time series analysis
• Familiarity with GIS / geospatial data
• Experience with Google Earth Engine
• Basic understanding of hydrogeology (not required, but a plus)
