2. Position Summary

We are hiring a Business Development Representative – Professional Tools & Testing Instruments to support business development in Saudi Arabia.

This is a flexible, part-time cooperation role designed for professionals who already have local customer resources, industry exposure, distributor connections, or project opportunities in sectors such as power utilities, electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, manufacturing, facility management, or technical service industries.

The role focuses on developing business opportunities related to professional tools and testing instruments, including electric tools, pneumatic tools, high-voltage insulated tools, anti-magnetic and explosion-proof tool series, power system testing instruments, environmental testing instruments, and other specialized tools for industrial and engineering applications.

This is not a simple hardware retail sales role. We are looking for someone who can understand customer application scenarios, identify professional tool and instrument needs, connect local demand with SolutionMall’s product resources, and help move business opportunities forward commercially.

3. Main Responsibilities

Business Growth & Customer Development

• Explore and develop new business opportunities for professional tools and testing instruments across Saudi Arabia.
• Build relationships with power companies, electrical contractors, industrial enterprises, oil & gas companies, construction contractors, maintenance service providers, engineering companies, distributors, dealers, tool shops, testing service companies, and project stakeholders.
• Identify potential customers who need professional tools, safety tools, testing instruments, and industrial measurement equipment.
• Support local market expansion by identifying project opportunities, distributor channels, procurement demand, and long-term cooperation opportunities.
• Help connect both sides of the business: local customer demand on one side, and SolutionMall’s professional product and service resources on the other side.

Product Promotion & Requirement Matching

Introduce SolutionMall’s professional tools and testing instrument resources, including but not limited to:

• Electric tools
• Pneumatic tools
• High-voltage insulated tools
• Anti-magnetic tools

• Industrial safety tools
• Power system testing instruments
• Electrical testing and measurement instruments

Understand customer requirements and help match them with suitable product categories, specifications, safety standards, and application scenarios.

Assist customers in clarifying product needs, including tool type, voltage level, working environment, safety requirements, measurement range, accuracy requirements, certification needs, delivery expectations, and after-sales support requirements.

Support communication related to product documentation, technical parameters, compliance requirements, certification support, and product selection.

Client Communication & Opportunity Follow-up

• Participate in customer discussions covering product requirements, application scenarios, technical parameters, safety standards, procurement needs, and commercial terms.
• Follow up on inquiries, RFQs, tenders, distributor requests, and project-based leads related to tools and testing instruments.
• Support quotation coordination, product recommendation, sample discussion, supplier communication, and order opportunity progression.
• Help ensure customer expectations are aligned with product availability, technical capability, certification support, delivery capability, and service scope.
• Maintain long-term communication with local customers, contractors, distributors, dealers, and engineering procurement channels.

Channel Development & Local Market Insight

• Develop cooperation channels with local distributors, dealers, tool suppliers, engineering contractors, electrical contractors, power service companies, industrial maintenance companies, and testing service providers.
• Collect local market feedback regarding customer demand, product preferences, pricing expectations, safety requirements, certification barriers, competitor activity, and channel structure.
• Help SolutionMall understand which professional tools and testing instruments have stronger demand in Saudi Arabia.
• Support the development of long-term local cooperation opportunities in the professional tools, power testing, industrial maintenance, and environmental testing markets.

4. Candidate Profile

Required

• Experience in sales, business development, channel development, distributor management, technical product promotion, or customer relationship development in one or more of the following areas:
• Professional tools
• Electric tools
• Pneumatic tools
• High-voltage insulated tools
• Explosion-proof tools
• Industrial safety tools
• Electrical testing instruments
• Power system testing instruments
• Environmental testing instruments
• Industrial maintenance equipment
• Engineering or utility project supplies
• Ability to communicate with contractors, distributors, industrial customers, utility companies, maintenance teams, engineering companies, or procurement departments.
• Basic understanding of professional tools, testing instruments, industrial application scenarios, safety requirements, and customer procurement processes.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and business follow-up ability.
• Comfortable working in a remote, flexible, cooperation-based model.
• Good professional English communication ability.

Preferred

• Existing local connections in Saudi Arabia with power utilities, electrical contractors, industrial companies, oil & gas companies, construction contractors, engineering companies, tool distributors, dealers, or testing service providers.
• Previous experience selling or promoting professional tools, industrial tools, electrical testing instruments, safety tools, or environmental testing instruments.
• Familiarity with safety standards, product documentation, certification requirements, tender processes, or industrial procurement procedures.
• Ability to help identify real customer demand and support both customer-side and supplier-side communication.
• Arabic language ability is a strong plus.
