Overview: As our Warehouse Section Head, you will be the linchpin of our warehouse operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods, from raw materials to finished products, including specialized frozen food handling. You will lead a dedicated team, implement cutting-edge inventory strategies, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality within a complex manufacturing and production environment, including slaughterhouse operations.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the warehouse team, fostering a culture of efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee and optimize all aspects of SKU management, stock control, and inventory management, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
- Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods with precision and strategic planning.
- Ensure the proper functioning of refrigerator systems and other critical warehouse infrastructure.
- Drive excellence in warehouse operations, identifying and implementing process improvements for maximum productivity.
- Coordinate effectively with logistics and supply chain teams to achieve optimal logistics coordination and supply chain optimization.
- Implement safety procedures and quality control standards across all warehouse activities.
- Utilize data analysis to identify trends, forecast needs, and make informed operational decisions.
- Resolve complex operational challenges with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Experience the Thrill of Leadership:
- A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally within manufacturing, production, or slaughterhouse .
- Proven expertise as an Experienced professional ready to take on significant responsibilities.
- Mastery of Core Skills:
- Exceptional proficiency in SKU Management, Stock Control, and advanced Inventory Management techniques.
- Deep understanding and practical application of FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
- Demonstrated experience in Frozen Food Handling and managing specialized temperature.
- Strong background in Finished Goods Management and Raw Materials Management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of efficient Warehouse Operations and best practices.
- Outstanding Team Leadership abilities, with a passion for developing and motivating staff.
- Unwavering commitment to Safety Procedures and rigorous Quality Control standards.
- A highly developed capacity for Problem-Solving and critical thinking.
- Proficiency in Data Analysis to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
