VP Data & AI Full Time NEW

To lead the Data & AI practice, ensuring the alignment of data strategy with the company’s vision and overseeing robust data management and governance. This role will be primarily for a customer, setting up their Data & AI practice, covering People, Process and Technology.

Role Description:

The Head of Data & AI is responsible for spearheading the Data & AI initiatives within the organization. This leadership role requires strategic vision, execution excellence, and a firm commitment to data governance.

• Lead the Data & AI practice aligned with the overall company vision and strategy.
• Develop and implement data strategies, data management practices, and governance frameworks.
• Manage and mentor Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Ensure the implementation of data policies, controls, and frameworks across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions.

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Data Management and Data Governance.

Qualifications And Relevant Roles/Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in Data Management, with significant experience in leadership roles.
• Certifications in data management, analytics, or AI technologies are a plus.
