Job Description
Job Title: Civil Inspector – Buildings
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project
The Civil Inspector will supervise and inspect building-related construction works on site, ensuring compliance with project drawings, specifications, and approved quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect building works including concrete, masonry, finishing, and related structural components
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and specifications
- Witness inspections and testing activities
- Report construction defects, deviations, and non-conformities
- Coordinate with the civil engineering team and contractor representatives
- Support documentation and inspection reporting processes
- Ensure site activities are carried out in line with safety requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of site inspection experience
- Experience in thermal power plant or industrial building construction
- Good understanding of QA/QC procedures and field inspection protocols
Preferred Profile
- Prior experience in utility, power, or industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of building construction inspection practices
