An exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveying professional to lead cost management and commercial functions across a portfolio of high-value real estate developments. This role will play a critical part in ensuring financial efficiency, cost control, and value optimisation from project inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities:Lead the quantity surveying and cost management function across multiple real estate projects (residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and commercial). Develop and implement cost strategies, budgets, and financial controls aligned with project and business objectives. Oversee cost planning, estimation, benchmarking, and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle. Manage procurement strategies, tender processes, and contractor negotiations to achieve best value. Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with approved budgets. Identify and mitigate commercial risks while maximising cost efficiency and project profitability. Review and manage contracts, variations, and claims to ensure compliance and cost control. Collaborate closely with design, development, and construction teams to optimise project outcomes. Provide strategic commercial insights and reporting to senior leadership. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing quantity surveying team. Key Requirements:10+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management within real estate or construction. Proven experience managing large-scale development projects with significant project values. Strong expertise in cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and commercial management. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market cost benchmarks. Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial management skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. Experience in GCC or UAE is advantageous. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional membership (e.g., MRICS or equivalent) is highly preferred.
