We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant with solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing production costs, managing cost control systems, and supporting financial decision-making processes.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
- Prepare cost reports and variance analysis (standard vs. actual costs).
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
- Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to optimize cost efficiency.
- Monitor inventory valuation and ensure accurate costing (FIFO, weighted average, etc.).
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Review and analyze manufacturing expenses specific to pharma operations.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a must.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
