Fashion Operations Assistant Full Time NEW

About the role

Dinour Studio is seeking a Fashion Operations Assistant to support production coordination, fabric follow-ups, and quality-related reviews across local suppliers.

This role is suited to someone with a strong understanding of fabrics and garment construction who can help maintain consistency and accuracy throughout sampling and production.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers, ateliers, and printing partners

• Assist with reviewing fabrics (feel, weight, finishing, shrinkage, visible flaws)

• Support review of samples and finished pieces against specifications

• Track production progress and update internal status documents

• Visit suppliers when needed to support coordination and follow-ups

• Confirm colors, print placement, and material accuracy using references

• Flag issues clearly and support basic troubleshooting

• Organize fabric swatches, trims, and production documentation

• Provide general operational support as required

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of fabrics

• Understanding of basic garment construction and finishing quality

• Working understanding of pattern making and how patterns translate into finished garments

• Experience with abaya or modestwear production

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies

• Organized, reliable, and communicative

• Comfortable coordinating with local suppliers in Dubai (1–3 times per week)

• Part-time availability with reasonable response time

Good to have (not required)

• Background or certification in fashion design, apparel production, or textiles

• Coursework in garment construction or pattern making
