Role Overview

Unity Infotech is looking for a Functional Project Manager to lead payments and banking product initiatives in our Bahrain office. This role requires strong functional expertise in financial services, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across business, compliance, and technology teams. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with regulatory standards.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• 6–10 years of project management experience in banking, fintech, or IT services.
• Strong knowledge of payment systems (cards, SWIFT, ACH, real-time payments, UPI equivalents).
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in the GCC region.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, etc.).
• PMP/Prince2/Agile certification preferred.
• Experience working in multicultural environments and with international clients.

What You Will Do

• Lead end-to-end project execution for payments and banking product implementations.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams to translate functional needs into actionable plans.
• Manage stakeholder communication across clients, compliance, and technology functions.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in Bahrain and international markets.
• Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.

Drive process improvements and best practices in project governance.
