Position Title: Senior Apparel Designer
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary AED: up to 18,000 inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

Job Description:
Conduct in-depth research on global fashion trends, fabrics, colours, and silhouettes. Work closely with merchandisers and buyers to align designs with commercial objectives.
Develop detailed tech packs, sketches, and specifications for sampling and production. Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials based on design and cost targets
Oversee sampling process, fittings, and approvals to ensure product accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to ensure design feasibility and quality standards.
Design and develop seasonal apparel collections aligned with brand identity and market trends
About the Client:
A Dubai-based enterprise, with a continuously growing portfolio of various industries including luxury fashion, couture accessories, and lifestyle brands.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field, with strong skills in fabric selection, garment construction, and pattern making
Proven experience in the Dubai/UAE fashion retail market, including working with local and international factories and production units
Solid understanding of costing, product lifecycle, manufacturing processes, and retail calendars
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) with a keen eye for detail, colour, and aesthetics
