Job Description
- Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) based on project design drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical, architectural) to resolve any conflicts.
- Prepare material submittals, technical data sheets, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Follow up on submittals approvals and track material procurement status.
- Provide technical support to the site team and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Review as-built drawings and ensure proper documentation upon project completion.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with consultants and clients when required.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with international codes and standards.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and cost estimation when needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in a contracting/construction company.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit is a plus.
- Good understanding of international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
