Document Controller – Construction Full Time NEW

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller with proven experience in the construction sector in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, controlling, and maintaining project documentation in compliance with company standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all project documents (drawings, contracts, reports, correspondence, etc.)
• Ensure proper document control support for all projects and departments
• Register, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents
• Maintain document logs and ensure accurate filing (electronic & hard copy)
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors for document submissions and approvals
• Ensure all documents are up to date, properly stored, and easily accessible
• Handle document version control and revision tracking
• Prepare reports on document status and workflow
• Ensure compliance with company policies and project documentation standards

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry (Qatar experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of document control systems and procedures
• Experience with Aconex, EDMS, or similar document management systems is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related field
• Experience working with contractors or consultants in large-scale projects
