Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Mechanic based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment, including excavators, forklifts, and other industrial machinery. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical issues, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, conducting routine servicing, and ensuring reliable equipment performance. The Mechanic will also collaborate with the team to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair of machinery.
- Experience with Heavy Equipment operation, handling, and repair.
- Strong Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues.
- In-depth knowledge of equipment safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to work in on-site settings and in a dynamic team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or vocational training in mechanical engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Relevant certification in heavy equipment maintenance or repair is an advantage.
- Prior experience in the construction, industrial equipment, or related sectors is a plus.
