Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. Daily tasks include programming, implementing back-end web development solutions, and utilizing object-oriented programming (OOP) methodologies. Collaboration with teams and delivering scalable and efficient software solutions will also be key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development
• Experience in Back-End Web Development and robust coding practices
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and remotely while meeting deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with collaborative software development tools such as Git is a plus
• Prior experience in remote work or higher education technology projects is advantageous
