To lead the development, implementation and review of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes and procedures for problem solving in all Maaden with the objective of achieving safe and reliable plants
To provide direction and guidance to the RCA team, identify and implement best practices in RCA,
To assess RCA quality, track RCA recommendations and effectiveness
To drive training related to RCA process and methodology to enhance employees knowledge and skills about RCA methodology
RCA learning sharing within affiliate and also externally with other affiliates as applicable
JOB DIMENSIONS:
– KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Developing and Implementing procedure to ensure compliance to unified RCA workflows.
Act as facilitator under the investigation team leader. Provides interface with all plants RCA leader within affiliate
Review and communicate RCA triggers and ensure all events meeting RCA trigger criteria are investigated
Maintain an up-to-date database of all RCAs across the site and report out RCA KPIs, progress on RCAs status and recommendations progress
Ensure developing root cause analysis training & awareness program & suggest potential improvement to RCA.
Monitor RCA process for reporting, classifying, investigating, analyzing and developing corrective actions for all reliability & quality failures to prevent them from reoccurrence.
Track RCA recommendations and effectiveness, ensuring that recommendations are implemented and result in sustained improvements in reliability
Qualifications/Knowledge and Skills :
University Degree in Engineering /. Science with 10 years experience or diploma with 15 years’ experience in Plant Maintenance, Operations and Support Services or Engineering.
Minimum of (3) years’ experience in a Supervisory / Management role in Plant Operations, Maintenance, Support Services or Engineering role in related industry.
Completed RCA training requirements in order to become a RCA methodology Specialist.
Have experience with Root Cause Analysis concepts.
In-depth knowledge of different problem solving techniques
Strong leadership qualities and team building skills to drive and liaise with people at all levels.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Minimum 2 years experience in Root Cause Analysis.
Minimum of twenty (20) investigations conducted as member, leader or facilitator.
