Part-Time Accounting Manager Full Time NEW

We are looking for a highly capable Part-Time Accounting Manager to build and manage the accounting and financial operations of a fast-growing digital business.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in setting up accounting systems and financial processes from the ground up. You will be responsible for creating a clear and scalable financial structure, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and supporting leadership with accurate reporting, planning, and financial visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and organize the full accounting system, workflows, controls, and reporting structure
• Build a clear end-to-end accounting process for the business and ensure it is scalable
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, records, and financial reporting
• Handle payouts to service providers accurately and on time
• Oversee incoming payments from business clients and ensure proper tracking and follow-up
• Manage and resolve financial disputes, payment issues, and account discrepancies
• Track company expenses, operating costs, and employee salary payments
• Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow updates, and management summaries
• Support leadership with budgeting, financial projections, forecasting, and future planning
• Prepare structured financial materials for leadership review and stakeholder discussions
• Recommend and implement best practices for accounting systems, controls, and internal financial processes
• Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and financial accuracy across all activities

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations
• Strong experience setting up accounting systems and processes from scratch
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial controls
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and management reporting
• Ability to manage both strategic financial planning and day-to-day execution
• High attention to detail, ownership, and strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with leadership
• Experience with accounting software and financial management tools
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business environment

Preferred

• Experience in startups, digital platforms, marketplaces, or service-based businesses
• Experience managing multiple payment flows and operational finance processes
• Ability to build structure, improve systems, and create scalable financial workflows
