Role Description
As the Group Head of Legal, the successful candidate will act as the principal legal architect for global operations, ensuring growth is supported by robust governance, commercial agility, and legal compliance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of legal experience, including leadership at a Group or Regional level
- Law degree and professional admission in an international jurisdiction (UK, US, UAE, South Africa preferred)
- Strong expertise in commercial contracting, corporate structuring, governance, and compliance
- Experience managing multi-country legal operations across EMEA
- Excellent executive stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- A commercially driven mindset with the ability to balance legal risk with business growth
- Regional experience in the Middle East (GCC) is strongly preferred; Sub-Saharan Africa experience is a plus
- Arabic language capability is an advantage
- Experience in technology and/or iGaming is preferred
