Job Brief
The Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI) is seeking a reliable and responsive IT Help Desk Officer to be based at the Disaster Recovery (DR) site of the Saudi Arabia branch.
The role is critical to ensuring continuous IT support during both normal operations and disaster recovery scenarios. The candidate will provide first-line technical support, ensure system availability at the DR site, and support business continuity and disaster recovery testing in line with regulatory requirements from the Saudi Central Bank and the National Cybersecurity Authority.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide first-level IT support for users at the DR site, including hardware, software, and network issues.
• Ensure readiness and availability of IT systems and infrastructure at the DR location.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) drills and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) testing.
• Monitor systems, servers, and connectivity at the DR site and escalate issues when necessary.
• Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices (desktops, laptops, printers).
• Coordinate with the main IT team to ensure synchronization between primary and DR environments.
• Maintain incident logs and ensure timely resolution of support tickets.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and access controls.
• Assist in maintaining IT documentation and DR procedures.
