Operations Manager – Travel Full Time NEW

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and manage the overall operations of our travel business. This role will focus on operational excellence, system optimization, business development, and service delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in travel operations, GDS systems, and driving business growth while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the travel business, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
• Manage end-to-end travel operations including ticketing, reservations, and customer support
• Lead and optimize travel systems including GDS platforms and booking tools
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
• Drive business development initiatives to expand client base and increase revenue
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, airlines, and travel partners
• Monitor operational performance and prepare reports with insights and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with airline policies, travel regulations, and company procedures
• Manage and develop the operations team, including training and performance management
• Collaborate with sales and management teams to align operations with business objectives

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in travel operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Travel & Tourism, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience with GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre
• Good understanding of corporate travel, ticketing, and reservation processes
• Proven experience in business development within the travel industry
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and client management abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
