Description:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll plan, coordinate, and supervise laboratory and witness test activities for Chiller units — ensuring full compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards, as well as customer technical requirements. You’ll manage climatic room testing, calibration, data analysis, and final reporting that drive product validation, customer acceptance, and certification.
What You’ll Do:
Plan and coordinate lab and witness test activities in line with customer requirements and plant priorities
Supervise Test & Lab Operators and manage climatic room operations via dedicated control software (airflow, water flow, temperature, pressure, performance)
Oversee calibration plans and support maintenance of test stands and measurement equipment
Monitor test execution, validate results, analyze anomalies, and troubleshoot
Prepare test certificates, customer reports, and technical documentation
Support certification activities, including AHRI standards where applicable
Champion 6S principles and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
What You Bring:
Education: Engineering Degree (Energy or Mechanical); HVAC specialization is a plus
Experience: Background in testing, laboratory, HVAC production, commissioning, quality, or technical support. Hands-on experience with HVAC units, climatic rooms, witness tests, or test benches is highly desirable
Knowledge: HVAC systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat exchange, and refrigeration cycles; ability to read technical, mechanical, and electrical drawings; familiarity with measurement instrumentation and testing procedures; AHRI standards is a plus
