Maxpower Electromechanical Contracting LLC is looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer (MEP) to join our Technical Office team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in UAE-based MEP Contracting companies and hands-on experience in preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, and competitive tender submissions for residential, commercial, and high-rise projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs for MEP works.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Review technical specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Technical Office, and Project Teams during the tender stage.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Prepare tender submissions within project deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of estimation experience within UAE-based MEP Contracting companies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Electrical systems.
- Experience in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, tender pricing, and cost estimation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in residential, commercial, and high-rise MEP projects within Dubai.
- Experience with value engineering and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and tender procedures.
