Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sandblaster to prepare metal surfaces for painting or powder coating by removing rust, mill scale, old paint, grease, and other contaminants using abrasive blasting equipment. The candidate will operate sandblasting machines, ensure the required surface profile and cleanliness, maintain equipment, and follow all safety and quality standards.

Requirement

Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently.
Prepare metal surfaces by removing rust, paint, scale, and contaminants.
Select and use the appropriate abrasive media for different materials.
Mask and protect areas that should not be blasted.
Inspect blasted surfaces to ensure the required surface profile and cleanliness.
Clean and maintain blasting equipment and work areas.
Follow production schedules and quality requirements.
Report equipment faults and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Wear and maintain the required PPE at all times.
