Job Description
Design Execution & Study: Lead the detailed design study phase and supervise engineers in creating accurate, coordinated design packages across Architectural, Electrical, and Mechanical scopes.
Design Upgrade & Optimization: Identify areas for design upgrades and actively participate in implementing Value Engineering proposals to minimize costs and enhance performance.
Design Approval Process: Conduct rigorous technical reviews of all drawings, calculations, and specifications to secure internal Design Approval before submission.
Client Approval Coordination: Prepare and compile complete submittal packages, managing the follow-up process to obtain Client Approval smoothly.
Design Handover Execution: Coordinate the formal Design Handover to the site execution team, ensuring all technical inquiries and RFIs (Requests for Information) are clarified.
On-Site Engineering Support: Provide prompt engineering support to resolve site construction issues, ensuring design compliance and minimizing rework.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 7–10 years of experience in engineering design and design management, with 2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers.
Technical Scope: Proven experience in multi-disciplinary design coordination (Arch/Elec/Mech) and a strong understanding of site constructability.
Skills: Proven tracking of successful project deliveries, strong problem-solving skills, and deep knowledge of Value Engineering principles.
Software: Advanced skills in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, and coordination tools like Navisworks.
Competencies: Excellent teamwork, strong command of English, and great communication skills to present ideas clearly to clients and team members.
