About The Role
We’re looking for a Sales & Account Management Officer (Food) to join our Commercial team in Nasiriyah. This role is ideal for someone who is sales-driven, proactive, and passionate about building long-term relationships with restaurant partners.
You will initially focus on acquiring and onboarding restaurant partners to the Baly platform. As the partner base grows, you will take ownership of managing and developing those accounts, helping partners maximize their performance, improve operational excellence, and achieve sustainable growth.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both Sales and Account Management while contributing directly to the growth of Baly’s food ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Partner Acquisition
Acquire and onboard top restaurant partners to the Baly platform.
Identify and engage restaurant owners and key decision-makers.
Generate leads and conduct meetings (in-person or virtual) with prospective partners.
Conduct field visits and presentations to introduce Baly’s solutions and value proposition.
Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close partnerships.
Achieve acquisition and activation targets.
Account Management & Partner Growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant partners.
Monitor restaurant performance, analyze results, and provide actionable insights.
Persuade partners to participate in campaigns, discounts, and promotions to maximize sales growth.
Proactively identify challenges and provide solutions to improve partner performance.
Ensure high responsiveness and continuous support to partner needs.
Follow up on menu updates, operational readiness, and overall account health.
Drive partner satisfaction, retention, and long-term business growth.
Operational & POS Support
Install and activate POS devices and related hardware for newly onboarded restaurants.
Train restaurant staff on using Baly’s POS system and devices.
Provide first-level troubleshooting and technical support when needed.
Follow up on device maintenance, replacements, and operational issues.
Ensure restaurants are fully operational and ready to receive orders through the platform.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams (Growth, Marketing, Operations, and Support) to drive business goals.
Act as the main point of contact between restaurant partners and internal stakeholders.
Support the successful execution of commercial and operational initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
Sales-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple partner accounts.
Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn POS systems and device setup.
A good understanding of Nasiriyah’s food and restaurant market is a plus.
Previous experience in sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing roles is a plus.
Fluent in Arabic; English proficiency is preferred.
