Role Description The Technical Office Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Helwan city

This role focuses on preparing, reviewing, and coordinating shop drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), and technical documents for ongoing projects. The Technical Office Engineer will collaborate with civil and electrical engineering teams to ensure design compliance, accuracy of quantities, and adherence to project specifications and standards. Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers and site engineers, updating and maintaining project documentation, analyzing design changes, and supporting cost control through accurate quantity surveying. The role also involves attending coordination meetings, resolving technical queries, and providing timely technical support to project stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in shop drawings preparation and review, with the ability to coordinate and resolve discrepancies across disciplines.
• Proficiency in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and quantity surveying to support cost estimation and project budgeting.
• Educational background in Civil or Architecture. Engineering with applied experience in structural, architectural, and infrastructure works.
• Familiarity with Electrical Engineering drawings and requirements to coordinate civil and electrical interfaces effectively.
• Experience using engineering and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and MS Office, especially Excel for quantities and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work on-site in New Cairo, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
