Role Overview:
This role supports financial operations for a technology and AI-driven platform, with a focus on data integrity and compliance. The Finance Associate will review, reconcile, and report on transactional data to ensure accuracy across payment flows and vendor settlements. Key Responsibilities:
• Review and reconcile daily transaction records to identify discrepancies or anomalies in payment processing.
• Validate vendor payouts against service delivery metrics and contractual terms on a bi-weekly basis.
• Generate and distribute financial reports summarizing revenue, disbursements, and outstanding balances for leadership review.
• Collaborate with operations and data teams to resolve reconciliation gaps using transaction metadata and platform logs.
• Maintain audit trails of financial adjustments, including timestamps, user IDs, and justification notes for compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related quantitative field with 2+ years of experience in financial operations or accounting.
• Experience with payment reconciliation in high-volume transaction environments, such as gig platforms, marketplaces, or SaaS billing systems.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel) with advanced functions for data analysis and pivot reporting.
• Familiarity with financial compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX, or GDPR) and audit trail documentation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
