About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager – Business Development & Strategic Acquisitions to build and lead the acquisition engine that secures both corporate customers and recurring e-waste volumes for the company. Reporting to the Head of ITAD, you will own the full acquisition lifecycle — from market mapping and prospecting through proposal, negotiation, contracting, and CRM-based pipeline management — across corporate, government, and partnership channels. You will work closely with Operations, Compliance, and Legal to ensure every signed agreement is operationally feasible and regulation-aligned, and you will represent the company in industry events, sustainability forums, and government roundtables.
What You’ll Do
• Build and execute a multi-channel acquisition strategy across B2B, government, and partnership channels.
• Acquire new corporate accounts — factories, IT firms, telecoms, banks, hospitals, hotels, retailers and real-estate developers — through outbound prospecting, field visits, industry events, referrals and digital channels.
• Secure recurring e-waste streams (IT assets, white goods, batteries, electronics) through long-term agreements with suppliers and source partners.
• Develop strategic partnerships with companies, schools, government entities, retailers, and NGOs to drive collection volumes and brand presence.
• Lead RFP/RFQ responses for government and municipal e-waste tenders.
• Position the company’s services around compliance, ESG, EPR obligations, data destruction, and circular-economy benefits.
• Build and maintain a market map of high-volume e-waste generators; track competitors, tariffs, regulations (EPR, hazardous-waste laws), and emerging recycling technologies.
• Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on leads, conversions, and contracts
• What We’re Looking For
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
Experience
• 3–5 years in a senior business development, key-account, or partnerships role.
• Proven track record of acquiring B2B accounts, complex-deal closure, and managing pipelines of multi-million-value opportunities.
• Experience selling intangible / service-based offerings (compliance, logistics, environmental services, facility management) is highly preferred.
• Experience responding to RFPs/RFQs and government tenders.
Skills & Competencies
• Hunter mindset combined with consultative, solution-selling capability.
• Strong skills in prospecting, qualification, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms and Google Workspace; comfortable building dashboards and data-driven reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills with C-suite, procurement, government officials, and operations leaders.
Languages
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
